What is Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
Anti-wrinkle treatment relaxes the muscles that create lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. The aim is a smoother, fresher look while you keep a natural range of expression.
You can treat a single area or several. We map the areas with you at your consultation and explain what is realistic for your face, so you can decide in your own time.

Every treatment starts with a consultation. Results vary from person to person, and we will always be honest about what is realistic for you.
What to expect

We start by talking through the lines that bother you and looking at how your face moves when you frown, smile and raise your brows. We check your medical history to make sure the treatment is suitable, and agree which areas to treat before anything begins. Our three-area treatment starts at £180.

The skin is cleaned and a series of very small injections is placed into the areas we agreed on. Most people describe it as a quick scratch rather than pain, and the whole appointment takes 20 to 30 minutes. You can drive yourself home and carry on with your day.

For the rest of the day, stay upright, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas, and leave the gym, saunas and facials until tomorrow. Small pinprick marks or mild redness usually settle within an hour or so. Downtime is minimal, so most people go straight back to work.

Softening usually begins to show within a few days and settles at around two weeks, although this varies from person to person. That is why we review you at around two weeks, and if one area needs a little more, the touch-up at that review is included free with our three-area treatment. The effect is temporary and wears off gradually over several months.

Most people find them very manageable. The needles are very fine and it tends to feel like a quick scratch lasting a second or two. Numbing cream is not usually needed, but tell us if you are nervous and we will take our time.
The effect is temporary and typically wears off over several months, after which lines gradually return to how they were before. How long it lasts varies from person to person and can depend on the area treated. Your practitioner will advise when it is sensible to come back.
Nothing changes on the day. Most people notice softening within a few days, with the effect settling at around two weeks. That is why we book a review, and a free touch-up is included with our three-area treatment if an area needs a little more.
Downtime is minimal. You may have tiny pinprick marks or a little redness for a short while afterwards. We ask you to stay upright, avoid rubbing the area, and leave exercise, saunas and facials until the following day.
That is the aim. We treat conservatively so that lines soften while you keep a natural range of expression. If you would prefer a lighter or a stronger result, say so at your consultation and we will plan the treatment around it.
It is not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and some medical conditions and medicines mean it is not the right option. This is exactly what the consultation is for. Bring a note of anything you take and we will go through your history together before deciding.
