What to expect

We start by talking about how much the sweating affects your day-to-day life, when it tends to happen and what you have already tried. Your medical history is checked to make sure the treatment is suitable, and we explain honestly what it can and cannot do before you decide.

The skin is cleaned and mapped out, then a grid of very small injections is placed just under the surface across the treated area. The needles are fine and most people find it very manageable. Allow around 60 minutes, which includes time to talk everything through first.

Downtime is minimal, so most people go back to work or their usual routine straight away. We ask you to skip the gym, saunas and hot baths for the rest of the day, and to leave deodorant and shaving until tomorrow. Any small marks normally settle quickly.
