Hair Treatments
Exosome Hair
An advanced scalp treatment, injectable or non-injectable.
What is Exosome Hair
This exosome treatment focuses on the scalp to support the overall look and condition of the hair over a course of sessions. It is available as a non-injectable treatment applied to the scalp, or as an injectable one.
As with all our hair treatments, we begin with an honest consultation about what is realistic and recommend a plan from there.
Benefits
- Non-injectable or injectable
- Supports hair and scalp condition
- Best over a course
Every treatment starts with a consultation. Results vary from person to person, and we will always be honest about what is realistic for you.
What to expect
-
We start with a proper look at your scalp and hair and an honest conversation about what has been happening. Dr Mari will check whether this treatment is a sensible option for you, explain what it can and cannot support, and suggest a plan from there.
-
Allow around 60 minutes. Your scalp is cleansed, then the exosome preparation is applied across it section by section so the areas being treated are covered evenly. Nothing is injected, so most people find it comfortable and easy to sit through.
-
Downtime is minimal. It is best to leave the scalp alone for the rest of the day so the product is not washed away, and Dr Mari will tell you when to shampoo again. Hold off on heat styling and any harsh products until she says it is fine to go back to them.
-
This treatment is designed to work over a course, so expect any change in how your hair looks and feels to be gradual. Results vary from person to person. We will review your scalp as you go and tell you honestly if it does not seem to be helping you.
Frequently
asked questions
Everything you may want to know about exosome hair before your visit.
No, this treatment is non-injectable. The preparation is applied across the scalp rather than injected, so there are no needles involved. Dr Mari will take you through exactly how the session runs at your consultation.
Most people find it comfortable and easy to sit through, since nothing is injected. You may notice the preparation feels cool on the scalp and some light pressure while it is applied section by section. Let Dr Mari know if anything feels off and she will adjust.
It is £220 per session at Roniya and you should allow around 60 minutes. It is normally recommended as a course rather than a one-off, so the full plan and what it would cost are explained at your consultation before you decide.
Not immediately. It is best to leave the scalp as it is for the rest of the day so the product is not rinsed away, and Dr Mari will tell you when to shampoo again. She will also advise on heat styling and any products to pause for a day or so.
Hair changes slowly, so this is a gradual treatment rather than an instant one. Any difference in how your hair looks and feels tends to show over the course rather than after one session, and results vary from person to person. We will review it honestly at each appointment.
It is designed to support the condition of the scalp and the look of the hair, and it is not the right answer for every kind of hair loss. Dr Mari will look at your scalp and be straight with you about whether it is likely to help. If there may be a medical cause behind your hair loss, she will suggest you speak to your GP as well.
