What is Facial Contouring
Facial contouring uses dermal filler across more than one area to gently refine structure and bring the features into better balance. It is planned as a whole rather than treating one spot in isolation, which is usually what makes a result look considered rather than obvious.

Every treatment starts with a consultation. Results vary from person to person, and we will always be honest about what is realistic for you.
What to expect

We look at your face as a whole, from the front and in profile, and talk through which areas are contributing most to what you would like to change. We check your medical history and suitability, then agree a plan and an order of priority before anything starts.

The areas are cleansed and a numbing cream is applied. Filler is placed in small, measured amounts across the areas we agreed, and we check the balance as we go rather than doing everything at once. The appointment takes 60 to 75 minutes.

Downtime is minimal, though mild swelling or tenderness across the treated areas for a day or two is normal, and small bruises are possible. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and alcohol for the first 24 hours, and try not to press or massage the areas.

Some change is visible straight away, but the areas settle over roughly two weeks as any swelling eases. We will review the result with you at that point, and the plan can be built on later if you would like. Results are not permanent and soften gradually.

Most people find it comfortable. A numbing cream is applied first and treatment is carried out in stages, so there are natural pauses. You are more likely to feel pressure than sharp pain, and you can ask for a break at any point.
This varies from person to person and from area to area. Filler in structural areas of the face tends to last longer than in more mobile areas, and results generally last a number of months rather than being permanent. Your practitioner will talk you through what to expect for your plan.
Facial contouring is £250, and the appointment is 60 to 75 minutes including your consultation. Because the plan covers more than one area, we will map it out and confirm the cost with you before any treatment goes ahead.

That decision is made at your consultation based on the areas involved and what you are hoping for. If we do suggest more than one visit, we will tell you exactly what that means for the cost before you commit to anything. There is no obligation to do everything at once.
